An unprecedented April heat dome is settling over the southern United States, with temperatures expected to exceed 100°F from Texas to Georgia through the end of the week.

Dallas is forecast to hit 106°F on Thursday, shattering the April record by 8 degrees. Houston, New Orleans, and Atlanta will all see temperatures 20-25 degrees above normal.

Health Warnings
